Editing /lib/udev/rules.d/40-libchipcard-tools.rules is sufficient to
fix the problem on an affected system.
With libchipcard 5.0.0-1 now in Ubuntu natty, I marked this bug as "Fix
released".

So, it suffices to edit /lib/udev/rules.d/40-libchipcard-tools.rules and
replace SYSFS{idVendor} by ATTR{idVendor} and SYSFS{idProduct} by
ATTR{idProduct}? Or is there more to it than those two text
replacements?

This is fixed already in the Debian package version 4.2.9-2. Someone
should prepare a sync with Debian I guess...
