I can confirm this bug as well on a 64-bit Ubuntu 10.04. The program
unetbootin gave no errors with the same hardware configuration.

I downloaded the live CD on April 20th. The Startup Disk Creator now comes up.
When I try to create a startup disk on a usb drive I get the message:
"An uncaught exception was raised [Errno 5] Input/Output error".
I tried 3 times and got the same result all the time. The error always
