LOL Well, if you'd asked me that right after I'd installed it there
would have been no problem. But I've already installed so much stuff,
and done so much work, on the system that it doesn't look like a very
exciting idea.

Not really, because the real problem was that the partitioner was the
cause of it. It changed the partitions around from how I had them set
up in the first place. The way the partitioner interpreted my setup was
to put the root directory in the space
