The bug was originally filed under no package (Ubuntu), and those bugs
are harder to trace afterwards... We have over 28,000 bugs to fix, and
it is done by volunteers, but I understand your frustations...

Please do close the bug, after several tries of this distro, i have
now switched to puppy linux, as they corrected my issue with in 48
hours of submitting my bug.

Setting package to linux-source-2.6.15, so this bug gets out of the list of
bugs without a package.
