Yes we assume 50% pressure but you can change that in the preferences
(modify the pressure curve, so it outputs something else at 50% input).

MyPaint uses 50% pressure for non-pressure devices. If you want 100% to
be used instead, file a bug upstream in MyPaint with your rationale.

MyPaint should work with all cursor like devices (as presented by gtk). For
those that are not capable of pressure, and correctly reports this, I think we
assume 50% pressure.
Are you saying that you are unable to paint with your device? If so, can you
please do the following:
1. Update to MyPa
