Sorry for the delay in responding to this. The new advanced partitioner
in Feisty has entirely different handling of mount points, and certainly
shouldn't suffer from this bug in this form; in fact, I think at present
it will reinitialise mount points if you go back and forward.

Time has passed, a new generation of Ubuntu has been established.
This bug can probably be closed as is, without further investigating or work.
