Can you reproduce this on the Ubuntu 10.04 Beta 1 CD? I just tried on
real hardware and it opened the partition edit dialog just fine.

This works for me, but only sometimes. Odd. That might be an artifact
of me testing in a virtual machine, though; maybe its sensitivity to
double-clicks is just a bit off.
Are you using Ubuntu or Kubuntu or something else, and what version are
you using? Please make sure to specify this clearly
It's actually meant to already, so this is a bug rather than a feature
request.
