I can confirm that setting "nopat" in GRUB actually solves the problem for me. Strange enough, the problem with the NVIDIA card (I have a Geforce GTX 460) only appears when using x86_64 on Ubuntu 10.10. If I boot 10.10 on same hardware as 32bit installation, everything works fine. -- You received
