Got the same "crash" now when opening softwarecentral.
I think i just started it and moved the mouse over the screenshot of a program
(didn't click).
Software central is still going but something crashed as I got the crash-icon
appear next to the clock.
This is after the "fix"

Just had this bug with my Lucid alpha up-to-date. It's funny it says
"Software Center crashed", but it didn't. It's working okay till now.
