Looking at the apt log, it seems that...
1) First entering language support just upgraded OpenOffice and other packages,
2) Adding Finnish to available languages removed OpenOffice. Here's that log
entry:

How can I target this for Lucid, as that's where this belongs? ubuntu-
bug didn't do that for me.
This is certainly just an alpha issue, and I wonder if it's non-
reproducible as I couldn't find it reported before.

Binary package hint: language-selector
Installed lucid alpha 2 from usb-creator-created stick. Clock applet had
time in 12 hour format. Changed to 24-hour. Noticed that can't localize
time format from clock preferences. Went to
- System->Administration->Language
