Launchpad bug auto-closing is currently broken. This bug was fixed in

Cg 3.0 is compatible with applications developed against Cg 2.1 and Cg 2.2.

Package fails to install due to files missing on Nvidia websit
If there is ongoing difficulties for downloading from nvidia.com,
I'd suggest reporting it to the Cg forums:

Seems to me that the package ought to fail to install rather than
behave as if everything is fine.
Updating the package for Cg 2.2
Which package version are you using? The package installs fine on Lucid
Lynx 10.04 for me using
