I`m really sorry the simbol appears but i expected to see a mesage like
the one in the authorization for synaptic so this bug doesn`t realy
exist but i think that bouth should display the same mesage :)

As far as I can tell when caps lock is on a warning symbol is displayed
in the password input field. Could you please deny or confirm this
behaviour?
