I am sorry, I don't have this notebook anymore since about 7-8 years
now. Consider that my last comment was from 2006 -- you might want to
put someone from the newer commenters from 2008-2009 on subscription.
But I don't know if this bug is worth looking into, as there are no
complaints since 2009
dennisg, could you please run the following command in a Terminal as it
will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this
report:

Please ensure you have xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes

Confirming. I have the same behaviour in Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) with
the Trident Cyberblade i1 controller. I have had this issue at least
since Dapper.

Okay, I now tried the trident driver of knoppix, but it still doesnt fix
it. Then it must have something to do with the combination of driver and
some other factors which are in kubuntu but not in knoppix...
Help would really be appreciated :S
