can't write or copy to it.

Excuse me, LaCie is an external Hard Disk (160 Gb), it is the name of this
producti in Italy.

Is there any error message displayed when you try to connect to the
LaCie disk? If yes, can you post the message here, even if it is in
Italian, as it would help us identify the source of the problem.
Alternatively, you can post a screen shot too.
