proprietary drivers? If so, be mindful of the fix posted in that bug,

BTW, I have an nvidia card, but I don't have the restricted drivers
installed. I saw a message on IRC that Nvidia users shouldn't expect to
suspend or hibernate.
After logging into launchpad as apport-collect requested, I got the
following crash:
