seems generating the help collection on startup is causing long delays.
workarounds for the moment include either
* disable the help system by running 'qtcreator -noload Help'
or
* leave qtcreator running unt
just installed a fresh alpha 3 (15/03/2010) installed qtcreator, it
still won't start.

just done the latest update (27/02/2010) including lots of Qt4 things,
qtcreator still won't start.
