Note that this bug affects many man pages. I count over 100 man pages
for GNU utilities referring to info pages, and most of them do not have
info pages installed by default.
It would be nice if running "info grub", for instance, gave a heads-up
that there's additional documentation to be found in
There's even a patch in Debian, although I think mine (from duplicate
bug #57912) is marginally better.
There's a similar bug against dpkg's install-info (bug #38538) which in
a way I suppose is the root cause.

Please then consider updating the man text to include that information.
IMO it's a minor bug in the text that it calls either info or grub
inproperly. Newbie ubuntu users already have often difficulty with grub,
them thinking that it might be broken when it is not does not help
things.
