You've got to be kidding! During the time it took to just have this bug acknowledged (11 months), I've had time to upgrade Ubuntu twice (now running Feisty) and replace my laptop with a newer model. So no, this bug isn't causing me problems anymore, but I couldn't say whether it's fixed or not. --
