from what i understand smp support isnt highest priority for lucid. also
there seem to be consent that current -marm approach is good enough for
lucid. dropping from RC list - but lets keep it an opportunity for
beta-2.

The armv6 stuff from Dave's bug was fixed a little while back; I'll put
the changelog entry in that bug. Since the only bit remaining seems to
be multicore, shouldn't this bug be marked as a duplicate of the other
one (which is much clearer) rather than the other way round?
