I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you.
Fortunately, I think there is a workaround for this problem as I believe
it's related to bug 455544 which occurs when the bandwidth preferences
are

Hola Mako,
el problema está en uno de los archivos de confguración. Por favor borrá
este archivo:
/home/mako/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf
Fijate que tiene el bandwidth-throttling habilitado pero los límites son
-1. Luego de borrarlo, restarteá el cliente de Ubuntu One.
