It is impossible. The system isn't available any more to me. With a new
installed ubuntu 6.10 it is working. Maybe it was related to the beta-
version and fixed in the release.
I think it would be the best to close this bug.

I am not sure, if this is what you expected, since firefox is called by
a script setting various variables before calling firefox-bin.
Especially "LD_LIBRARY_PATH" is set to a new value.
