Thanks for your bug. The bug corresponds to
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=324221 upstream which is fixed
with edgy. The patch is not trivial but might go to dapper-updates if we
update evolution to the GNOME 2.14.3 version

It looks like you can't reproduce the bug if you enter something by
hand. So to reproduce the bug, better import some ical stuff from
somewhere.
