Hi! Thanks for your bug report. Due to a transition from webkit to gtk
based views, the bug you describe is no longer present in the latest
development version of software-center. It also seems that it was solved
in Ubuntu 10.04 as well (by comments and by a limited range of the bug
numbers of the

I've got also this problem
I'm using the 10.04 alpha2 from the com! Premium DVD (it's a german
computer-magazine) Frühjahr 2010
First I used the universal usb installer (
http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/ ) and
installed it on a usb stick… when i tried to instal

I got this error also. Software Center said that it was waiting for
other package installers to quit or something like that and then it
crashed.(Apport came up, but software center stayed open). When I went
on the command line and tried to run sudo apt-get install flashplugin-
installer, I got the
