I don't think it matters what hardware is used. The device is acting as
a scanner and I would therefor prefer to use it with my scannerprogram.
Too bad it does not have working drivers..

It's the same with Ubuntu 10.04. I can confirm this bug, but Sane may don't
have to find this device.
That's because It's not works as a scanner. Inside, this device contains a
high-resolution "webcam".
Maybe, Cheese has to support this device. (But Cheese doesen't support
it)
