Hi and thanks for the quick reply.
That had crossed my mind but I don't recall a prompt for this package.
Also I haven't a mythexport.cfg.dpkg-old file in /etc/mythtv/mythexport/
and mythexport_settings.cfg remained untouched?

Usually during distribution upgrades, the upgrade process will put up a window
or two for config files that are different or have changed. Is it possible
that it put that window up and you selected "Replace" rather than
