Pinucset, you might take a look at bug #35319.
To put in a nutshell :
_ For Vaio FS Series it's possible to make it work
_ For Vaio FE Series that's impossible without seriously patching sonypi module
I don't have technical experience to do that though
And finally consider using smartdimmer
