Okay, this is "funny". After having booted with 2.6-14 for a while, 16
now boots with out any problems. I will try to run with 16 for a while,
and see if the error comes up agine.

Hi IsBOF,
Can you do the following, first boot into the 2.6.31-14 kernel and run
the following command:
apport-collect -p linux 502048
It will automatically gather and attach some general debug information.
Next, can you boot the 2.6.31-16 kernel with the "quiet" and "splash"
boot options remove
