Lucid crashed again moments ago, but not with any form input this time.
I clicked on an internal link on the cbc.ca/news website and my display
went dark, requiring ctrl+alt+delete to reboot.
When I restarted Firefox, it took me to the linked page, as opposed to
the one with the link itself.

This happens randomly, but if I recall correctly only in an online form.
I cannot reproduce it at will, but the next time it happens I will
report via Firefox bug report as I did earlier.
Form input types are non-specific - it has happened in both textareas
and input boxes.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Please run the command 'apport-collect -p xorg 500848'
which will attach necessary information for debugging this as an Xorg
problem. Also,are you doing anything else when this happens and are you
able to reproduce
