To be honest, it's not a showstopper, since this is the only website where I
experienced a segfault.
I suppose we can close it considering it's low importance and the fact that
most people will switch to 3.5 in the near future anyway.

Today I tried to reproduce the bug on the same hardware, but with Ubuntu
9.10 + Firefox 3.5.5, but did not succeed. After pressing the "Enter
site" text, Firefox goes fullscreen, and the site is rendered as it was
intended.

I successfully reproduced the crash with a clean new profile following
the described steps. There's also a bit of new information: when the
crash happens, the following error message appears in the terminal
window:
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Sometimes Firefox profiles can
become corrupt and/or extensions can conflict. Could you please try
this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not
need to delete your old profile to test. If this helps, you might want

OK, this was really simple to reproduce. The flash site is
www.marilynmanson.com, I had to wait a bit, while it loaded. After a while I
got to the part with Mr. Manson's face, clicked the "Enter site" text, and
shortly after that, the SIGSEGV came.
Well, I guess it's a poorly written flash site
