Hi ks64! This specific bug has been fixed quite a while bug. The bug
causing software-center not to start in natty is bug 684887. Thanks for

Update: no option to change status either. Someone needs to really
hunker down and nominate this bug for the Natty Narwhal, as it is a
regression in that release.

I would nominate this bug for Natty as I have the same problem, but I
cannot find the option to nominate. Changing status to Confirmed, not
Fix Released, as this problem reappeared in Natty.
