FWIW: in knemo 0.4.1 (released some days ago) the update interval
is configureable. For 0.5 it's planned to replace the usage
of i*config and route with libsysfs.

I have uninstalle
Do you use KNemo module of kded? knemo is know to cause some CPU load
(see bug 32981). You may try turning knemo off and see if it makes a
difference.
If you do not use use knemo, then please report which modules you are
running. You can get this by executing:
dcop kded kded loadedModules
