Problem is solved with the patched version in latest libgnomeprint2.2-0
(2.12.1-3ubuntu2). Thanx Pascal.

Can you try if you still have this problem in Dapper 6.06 LTS after
applying the patch suggested in bug #34112.
Test packages with the patch applied (amd64 and i386, and source) can be
