Its definably fixed the problem. I've been using my net-book for around 3 - 5
hours every day for work over last month or so and had no problems since
rolling my BIOS back to the previous version.

I've realized that "U" refers to "US version" and "E" to "Europe", and than
that this bios is good also for me.
I've used imagewriter to create a bootable USB stick, but it doesn't work.
I've tried several time but it seems to skyp the boot by usb drive,
I've enable the usb licen
I confirm it worked out for me. 1.60 seems the best BIOS out there for
this netbook.

I'm experiencing the same problem.
I'm trying to fix it dongrading the BIOS, but I have some question (It's the
first time I use Ubuntu and I'm not that good with computers...)
The BIOS verision given in the suggest link says that its applicable to the NB
models having part number beginnn
@David, @Jason -- are you both confirming that this issue is related to
a BIOS update, that downgrading the BIOS has resolved it?

On my NB100 the problem appears to stop occuring when I disable the
wireless. Maybe this problem is related to that then.

irqpoll in the kernel parameters seems to have fixed the problem. I'll
test is further, i'm curious if this was the problem (bios not handeling
IRQ?). I'll report back later.

I'm really pissed that nobody cares at all. We dont even have a
responsible for this ticket! I really like ubuntu, but if cannot use the
lates, becouse there is a stupid bug what appears on my netbook, than

I've got the bug, sometimes a usb key will unfreeze it but not always it
sometimes requires a hard reboot. Also adding the irqpoll module to boot
via grub doesn't make any difference.

I've also noticed now that sometimes the same crash happened without
coming out of suspend, even something as simple as plunging in head
phones Is enough the return it to normal function until It Jams up
again.

I can also Confirm this, when my NB100 wakes from suspend it works for a few
seconds and then freezes completely. I can't even get any Caps/Num lock
activity at all.
However after plugging in my USB key the system instantly jumps back and
continues normally.

It seems that if i do some change in the hardware configuration of the
netbook (plug in our out eth cable, usb device or whatsoever) the
machine comes back. It must be something with detecting changes in the
io system. Must be a small thing. Anybody knows about workaround?

I now can confirm, that if UNR freezes down, i plug in a usb drive, it
comes back immediately. The problem must be with some IRQ or USB
controller driver.
Can other users confirm this?
