For own customer with linux-only pc adding this feature in evince can
contribute to remove definitively acrobat and closed source applications
from them pc.

Well, I disagree with #2.
I use Tomboy heavily, and I so often open a document via the Link in the tomboy
note.
Then, without the folder window open, I am viewing the document.
Thus, it saves me a lot of time by sending it directly from the menu.
Plus, this is a feature Adobe Reader offers.

Thanks for your bug. It doesn't make really sense to have a such option
to applications, it's easy enough to use nautilus or your mailer for
that. I'm marking the feature request as rejected, feel free to bug
upstream about it if you disagree
