Since this problem resolved without any change to prism itself, it is
not the case that there was a bug that was then fixed. Either the
problem was not due to a bug, in which case this should be closed as

The problem I had has been solved by Un installing Shiretoko. I
installed FireFox and Prism again. Now Gmail Prism & Google docs Prism
work fine.
Besides I got back the Firefox logo (I am not a big fan of the Shiretoko
logo).

installed menu entry to launch Prism Google Mail because I wanted the
latest version of Firefox so I got Shiretoko.
