Title:
ps-watcher package bad default ps-prog
To manage notifications
This looks like it was fixed in March this year in Debian as their bug 645791.
1.08-5 has:
$opts{ps_prog} = '/bin/ps'; # Where is ps?
** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #645791
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=645791
** Also affects: ps-watcher (Debian) via
$opts{ps_prog} will be set to 'no' when the ps-watcher configure script
is run and it can't find ps in the path (environment variable PATH)
anywhere.
Line 53 (or thereabouts) of ps-watcher's configure.ac:
AC_PATH_PROG(PS, ps, no)

below. "no" is the default ps-prog for some reason in my dist of hardy at
least.
Line numbers might not be 100% correct since I've added some debug print
statements but +- 1 or two rows.
Example wich does not work.
