Geany 'line wrapping' functionality doesn't work
To manage notifications
In the links above, some people said that the "preferences"-setting is a
global setting and that the setting for individual files has to be set
in "Document > Line Wrapping". But that does not work for me either. The
only think that works for me here is "Line Breaking" but that is very
often unwant

Ach, indeed. I didn't notice that. Maybe it should be marked somehow
that settings in Preferences apply only to new documents...

There is a separate option under "Document" which affects the currently
opened document. I am not 100% sure what the option in the preferences
does, maybe it is the "default" for newly opened documents.
