yes but a new script (not in a package) should be installed only via
console... why linux is still so restricted to let GUI have the same
power of the console or at least something similar???
Linux will never have a great diffusion whithout console-dependent that it's
still is.

It depends on the services that are installed in /etc/init.d/, those are
read automatically.
