It can't work with the Live CD. You have to use the Alternate CD.

I _am_ using the regular CD and not the alternative.
In any case, the error message is wrong. It is something about not being
able to mount proc in /proc.

well, there is definately a slash missing in the file:// url ... needs
to be file:///cdrom ...

there are no ltsp related errors in the logs you attached
could you attach the build log of the ltsp-build-client command (the output
from the terminal)
the command above is excactly what is used with alternate CD installs
when you select to autoinstall ltsp during OS installation
