Frank, thanks. That patch is a lot more readable. I believe Debian will
be updating the categories but they are waiting for the next TuxMath
version to be released instead of making a minor change just for this. I
don't believe we'll want to do a Stable Release Update for Karmic just
for this eithe

And you didn't quite follow the procedure to make your debdiff, as
decribed at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/HowToFix .
I think the last procedure would be something like debdiff
tuxmath_1.7.2-1.dsc tuxmath_1.7.2-1ubuntu1.dsc >
tuxmath_1.7.2-1ubuntu1.
updated category to Education;Math;
attached debdiff, added motu sponsors.
