I'm having the same problem. Expo key is default "e" and it causes
compiz.real to segfault.
Running Karmic 9.10, but video card is ATI. Details below.
lspci yields:
01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility U1
After segfault, dmesg yields:
[ 96.640662] compiz.real[2
