I had unofficial TCL 8.5 packages installed and aMSN segfaulted on
startup. Upon removing the offending packages, aMSN started again... so
I think this bug isn't Ubuntu's fault.

Unfortunately, for some reason (I don't remember, it was there before
I joined the team but it's been mentioned a lot of times), TkCximage
cannot be neither backwards nor forwards compatible. If the user has
tcl/tk 8.5 (must have compiled it by h

Hi,
Had you perhaps compiled tcl/tk 8.5 to enable antialiasing? If this is
the case, TkCximage will need to be recompiled... so yes, apart from
compiling tcl and tk, you'll also need to compile amsn.

I have the same problem. Still persist in the version 0.95-1.
I tried to make a backtrace and I obtain the same result as Bart van Beek, and
the files that fails when reading, exists in the right place.
I reinstall amsn with aptitude after a purge, and the same problem persist
Any solutions?
