same issue, after extracting, the folder does not appear. need to
refresh file manager in order to show it.

I have the same bug, and I think it comes from refreshing. If you
extract a file or folder, it disappears, but if you press F5 it comes
back. However, I don't know where the problem comes from exactly

Thank you for the quick response. I am marking this bug invalid, since
we don't know what fixed it. It doesn't mean the bug wasn't real, just
that it is fixed and we don't know what fixed it. If the vanishing
folders becomes reproducible, please file a bug on it. Thanks again.

You're right, the exact bug cannot be reproduce anymore.
I still have «vanishing» folders when copying but it's less reproductible.
