Issue is gone. Don't recall exactly what I did to make it go away, but
I believe it involved mv'ing the old home directory aside and then
selectively pulling things back into a fresh one.

Thanks for your bug. Do you still have that issue? When you get those
dialog, do you have a button to remove the applet? Do you have something
to ~/.xsession-errors about the issue?
