Found some info on a Debian mailing list. Apparently there are some bugs
(already fixed but unreleased) in the latest liblzma preventing build of
fusercompress, so support has been disabled until the next liblzma
release.

Another confimation. The package definitely lacks support for lzma. This
is really an issue since lzma provides both high speed and the highest
compression ratio.

Confirming, having the same problem here... Installing lzma, lzma-alone,
and liblzma0 don't seem to change anything.
