Hi Angelo,
This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it
recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the
latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .

I'll collect the info later this evening when I'll go back home. There I still
using the wifi, but for only few hours...
In my opinion a lot of issue are related to the Atheros wifi card and I'm
planning to change it with a Intel card.

Your system is working because you're now wired, not for your kernel.
If you're comfortable with LAN, please, change bug status to 'Invalid'
since it won't be attended anymore.
Otherwise, please, include your new logs with 2.6.32 kernel. To do it, you
just have to run the following

i'm using your kernel and I cannot find any issue.
But I changed the way to connect to internet: before with a wifi and now with a
wired connection. ;-) I had a lot of problems with the Atheros card!!
