That's right, but you just want to sync your iPhone/iPod touch, don't
you? Actually this doesn't provide automounting, you need to mount
manually via "sudo ifuse /media/iPod", but it works. Anyway,
automounting is possible with gvfs-backends-afc:

What exactly is the solution in there? I think there is no word about
automounting. It is all about gtkpod syncing.
