OK, I think the problem is still basically the same in Feisty. The
display is different from Dapper, and both dialog boxes appear at the
same time, but the default username is filled in a split-second later.
Maybe that wouldn't be noticeable on a fast CPU.

a slash & burn box, so I'll try to install Feisty soon and test it.

I recall having this problem in Dapper, but the login box comes up whole
in Feisty, so this has been fixed.
