yelp crashed with SIGSEG
Jürgen thank you for responding to the information request and helping
to make Ubuntu better. In Maverick, opened yelp via primary clicking
System -> Help and Support -> File -> Print this Page -> printed to .ps
file and printed a physical sheet. No problems, no crashing.

Yelp takes a *really* long time to start up on Karmic machine.
$ valgrind.sh yelp
