Ah.. thanks! I've been looking for a pulse log of some sort. RTKIT has
been removed and I'll post the log as soon as possible

Firstly, make sure that you update to Karmic RC or newer. This should
force the removal of rtkit, which is known to spam syslog because
Karmic's linux source package lacks a set of necessary patches.
